What I can & cannot print

The H2S is a large-format FDM (filament) printer — fast, accurate, and capable of engineering-grade materials. Here's an honest guide so you know what to expect before requesting a quote.

Yes — I can print these

  • Parts up to 340 × 320 × 340 mm in a single print (larger designs can sometimes be split and assembled)
  • Prototypes, replacement parts, brackets, enclosures, and functional mechanical components
  • Cosplay props, figurines, display pieces, and decorative items
  • Household fixes — clips, hooks, organisers, adapters, and custom mounts
  • Standard filaments: PLA, PETG, TPU (flexible), ABS, ASA
  • Engineering materials: PC, PA (nylon), PET, PPS and carbon/glass fibre reinforced variants
  • Water-soluble supports with PVA / BVOH for complex internal geometry
  • Multi-colour prints (when AMS multi-material system is used for your job)
  • Layer heights from ~0.12 mm (fine detail) up to 0.28 mm (faster, stronger layers)
  • Files in STL, 3MF, OBJ, STEP (STEP may need conversion — attach anyway and we'll discuss)

No — limitations to know

  • Anything larger than the build volume without splitting into multiple parts
  • Metal, ceramic, or resin/SLA parts — this is plastic filament printing only
  • Glass-clear or optically transparent parts (FDM layers are always slightly visible)
  • Extremely fine detail smaller than ~0.4 mm features (nozzles are 0.2–0.8 mm; default 0.4 mm)
  • Items requiring certified food-contact or medical-grade production (unless you supply approved filament and accept hobby-grade results)
  • High-temperature parts above ~120–150 °C service temp (even engineering filaments have limits)
  • Regulated items such as firearms components or other restricted parts
  • Mass production runs — this is a custom, small-batch local service
  • Guaranteed waterproof or pressure-tight vessels without post-processing and testing
  • Overhangs and bridges without support material — some support marks/scars are normal on FDM prints

Not sure if your project fits? Submit the quote form anyway — describe what you need and attach reference photos. I'll let you know what's achievable and suggest alternatives if needed.
